Tasted at monthly Winos tasting, Meursault theme. Lovely, lovely wine with fresh nose, excellent depth and length, classic Charmes profile of flavors. (See Dec 2017 notes by PanosKakaviatos and DCWino for detailed descriptions of flavor sets that ring true). Group favorite wine and holding up well; my 2nd place vote as (for me) just edged by the 1982. Superb match to smoked salmon, grilled clams, and a group of seafood and pasta salads.

A bit of reduction on the nose, glorious fruit on the palate. Darkish color and maybe a slight touch past prime but oh so good. This held up well in the glass for a long time, excellent.
