  Opened two hours in advance but not decanted. Nose muted and never really developed. Much better on palate. Fully mature but retains energy. Fruit pure with earthy slightly rustic notes. Not sure where this is going. Probably best to drink up remaining bottles

  Opened to celebrate England’s knife edge win to claim the cricket World Cup.
  Fully mature wth plenty of rustic underbrush. Beautiful smooth palate just tailing off slightly in the finish. Acidity keeping it fresh. Very nice

  Forest floor, then sweeter strawberry-tinged fruit after 40 minutes or so. Tannins not noticeable initially but coming through late in the bottle. Until then, gentle acidity carried the persistent melting finish.
