  • This was in a beautiful place. Aromas of almond, honey, orange marmalade, spiced white pepper, mineral, chalky elements. On the palate, this shows gorgeous richness and popping acidity. I get honey glazed notes with baked pears and orange marmalade, sugar cane, olive oil, almond, dried yellow flowers, mixed with an almost profound salty-mineral aspect. A gorgeous Riesling that will continue to evolve for quite a few more years.

  • Light golden. Tasted slightly too warm. Appealing notes of peach, passion fruit, minerals, bit petrol. Consistent, homogenous palate, minimal touch of bitterness giving good grip, finishing long with some classyness. Excellent companion to the salmon plate. No weakening now on 3rd night.

  • Overripe fruit and flabby acidity. Watery and light mouthfeel. Ok, but not spectacular in any way. Maybe an off bottle?

  • Light yellow. When opened loads of sweet Riesling fruit on the nose and some in taste: yellow berries (what are the name of those Swedish yellow cherries?) and hints of lemon. But a great minerality is also present: salt, seaweed, rocks and some metal. With some air the minerals takes over making this spectacular in terms of minerality, but also less pleasing. On day 2 the fruit is gone leaving only metal, salt and rocks. Nothing left for day three... Rating: 92-93+
