Fresh offering by the LCBO of some aged Bdx at $20 a bottle. I shouldn't give them such a hard time. There is some dense perfume of fruit, earth and undergrowth with hints of vanilla and peppermint. This is so dense it sits like a fog in the glass. Tannin has been shed, as well as some sediment leaving a well balanced wine that has peaked and won't be improving. No rush to drink but no need to wait. Nothing outstanding but nice to have something with a decade behind it. A very enjoyable 88.

Great QPR considering the age.

Good buy at $20, great Bordeaux typicity... Lovely bistro red. Bought a case to drink over the next year with rare red meat.
