Delicious 50/50 Syrah/Grenache blend. ATP release. Stored perfectly since release. Second bottle in the last six months and this one is even better than the first. Syrah dominates but Grenache helps balance out the bigger wine. Has many years left but at its peak now.
Medium-dark red color with limited transparency. Aromas of sweet red fruit, plum, blueberry, and some vanilla/floral elements. Palate has currant, blueberry, raspberry, pepper and some olive notes that lead into a medium-long finish that has a few unresolved tannins still poking out. This is close to prime-time for my tastes. Drink or hold.
