    A terminer.

  • Less oaky and more attractive than a previous bottle I had of this. Rich, smooth and buttery, but a bit lacking in acidity and complexity. Any remaining bottles I'd drink asap, though I might also hold one for ten years or more out of curiosity, especially as it doesn't seem to have oxydation problems.

  • Fairly smoky nose (smoked salmon, smoked bacon) which needs time to dissipate. On the palate, its fairly creamy with honey and lively acidity Softened and improved over the course of the bottle. Bought at a reduced price of 23 euros at which it was fairly good value.

(Potel Nicolas Meursault Genevrières Philippe le Bon) The same high-tones as the Narvaux, perhaps less width but certainly more depth. The colour is also a little deeper. Overall I found the presentation just a little anonymous vs the Narvaux, though there is and extra length to the finish. Still a good clean wine.
