If this hadn't been a very, very serious and prestigious tasting where others in the room (including the original winemaker) were singing the praises of everything poured... I would have said this was bricked. Faded color, fruit, some floral notes. Not pleasant to me, have I just not had enough old wine?
The wine looks pink colored. The legs are fast. There is heavy sediment in the bottle. It smells like sherry. It tastes like raisin. The body is light. The wine has narrow texture. The wine finishes short. The wine has high acidity.
