Found 3 bottles in my 55* Cellar. Not expecting much, WRONG. Filter cleaned wine, hitting on all cylinders. Great fruit and totally evolved. Looking forward to the other 2 bottles.

Rather dead on the nose. That, and the fact that it was disjointed on pop/pour, had me worried this was a few years deceased. But it came around in no time at all, and held up beautifully for the few hours drunk. Leather, black olive, red fruits. Drink by 2013 tops.

Happy we waited to open this one, sad it was our last one. Had this one and a couple of other nice younger reds we wanted to try with some guests. All agreed that this was their favorite of the night. Is still aging well. Smooth, balance of subdued berry and spice, and a fine medium finish.

Still youthful in aroma and appearance, no bricking whatsoever. Time has treated this well, exceptionally smooth and integrated, with no rough edges yet plenty of fruit left. Paired with grilled tenderloin roast for Christmas dinner, quite a treat.
