  • This bottle was really excellent. Still has a very full bodied texture, with food dark fruit and mostly integrated but still noticeable tannins. Sorry this is my last bottle - if it was representative, there should still be at least several good years ahead fo rit.

  • Nice. A little bricking but otherwise not showing too much age. Opens with an hour of air. Before that was a bit tight and restrained. But 2 hours later and plenty of fruit still there to go with the tannin and good acidity. No rush to drink the other bottle I have.

  • Fruit is starting to fade, but there is still a great deal of complexity in this wine. It'll probably be fine for another couple years, but after that it'll be over the hill.

  • Well, I’m not exactly sure what to make of this. I tried a bottle several years ago but it was young, tight and unyielding. Now, not much has changed. Initial nose of deep dark red fruit but that quickly faded into a big brawny closed, tannic and tight wine. Six hours later, I see no sign of any change. I suggest holding this for several more years (2009?). Right now, it’s just not a terribly enjoyable bottle to drink.
