The first hit was a flashback to Welch's grape juice - not an original note but very fitting here; After opening up a bit it was not as bad as it signaled but still not a lot of fun; Muddy profile; Sweet just this side of candied; Big finish - would have likely showed much better if the finish was not so ripe
light in color and body, sweetness on the nose, cherries and boysenberries on the foretaste, good tone and fullness, some blueberry no pepper or spice for a Zin, medium duration on the palate and a neutral to sweet finish, but certainly not the cloying fullness of Rhombaur. A very nice light Zin that could go with food easily, a pinotish Zin
