Enjoyed over 3 days - just kept getting better and better. Good ripe fruit (cherries and plums) not candied or sweet in general, spicebox, dark tea, dark chocolate, violets, firm tannins and the alcohol quite present but became less prominent over the days. So much going on and I really appreciate the structure of this wine. My experience with port is fairly limited but in my book this a significant better buy in term of QPR than many other well known ports.

Gala Dinner with Harald Wohlfahrt *** (Rheingau Gourmet & Wine Festival Hattenheim, Germany): Attractive, young and rich VP, no great opulence, nice enough.
