  Selected off the wine list at La Riserva Restaurante in San Martin de los Andes, to pair with various entrees including trout, pasta, chicken, and chef salad. Ruby color. Very full nose of blueberry, plum, and cranberry. Palate was big and rounded, showing flavors of plum and blueberry again, plus licorice and perhaps some redcurrants. Nice wine but somewhat atypical as to varietal character.
