Rockss and Fruit

  • By Lyle Fass
5/14/2003, (See more on Rockss and Fruit...)

(Leitz "Dragonstone") With a new snappy label this wine is an incredible QPR! I prefer it over the 2001. Red berry fruits, minerals, chalk, white flowers on the nose which seems very ripe. On the palate layers of red plums, raspberries, white peaches all framed by out of this world acids. Lots of baby fat but utterly charming and almost hedonistic.
