Poped and poured at a chop house. A good Pinot, not great but good. Vanilla, cherry and burnt wood on the nose. Fruit forward with a oak background and a hint of vanilla on the pallet. Short finish with a bit of heat for the alcohol.

This wine is very good. I am somewhat concerned that this bottle aged for at least a year at the store without proper cooling. But still very good. Strawberry and flowers.

The oak is a bit obvious, but this has plenty of red cherry fruit to carry it through in the true Russian River style. Drinking very well now.

Perfectly aged. Wonderful. Drink now if you still have it.

Pinot Days (San Francisco, CA): Young pinot with soft oak, earth, and vanillla notes accenting the rich black raspberry fruit. Rich and balanced.
