  Excellent, 14% alc.
  Colour: black berry and dark chocolate
  Bouquet: red berries, cassis, cedary oak, spice and nutmeg, cedary, trace of mint
  Palate: black currant and dark chocolate, plum, soft chalky tannins, herbal, mint characters, some licorice. Long dry finish. Complex and concentrated.

  Possibly a little faded. Nose has a touch of cherry to it. Tannins have smoothed out nicely, and quite a savoury finish. My last bottle of it - a fantastic bargain when first purchased: probably drinking the final chapter a year too late!
