Still on the young side and will be better in about 5+ years. Decanted 12 hours which helped, but it didn't seem a very complex wine. A little basic. I have had very similar experiences from other wines of the Médoc for the 2006 vintage.

Good nose with soft tannins. Dark fruits, cherries with smooth mouthfeel. Drinking well now and don’t keep

Powerful pine woods, dark fruit, and butterscotch finish. This is a great wine with a lot of punch.
