In spite of 13.5% alcohol quite light (sables), some fruit, some oak, classic, ripe acidity, tannins still a bit firm, good balance, decent length with a touch cheese rind and fresh bandages. Pleasant.
Ruby red with light red edges. It had aromas of raspberries and red cherries. It was balanced, smooth and dry. On the palate, it was little tart and sharp red berry flavors....it seemed a little young. The finish was clean and long.
