Initial nose was of rubber, green pepper, cooked vegetables and graphite components. The palate was a bit thin, vegetal, a little dark fruit and asian spice.
These notes changed a fair amount after about an hour. The nose still had a vegetal quality but more fruit came forward. The palate was more one dimensional, mostly spicy fruit.
It was interesting for the price.

Not the evening's best, but not bad. Deep flavors but a short finish. Dry and flavorful at the outset. Not bad overall. A very good effort.

Nice Merlot-Malbec blend. Simple yet with enough complexity to tickle the palate. $4-5 makes this a great, great value.

Surprisingly good for <$5, nice fruit, full-bodied, no complexity, try it in a Reidel Extreme Cab/Merlot glass if you have one handy.
