Very dissapointing. Expected alot more. Started off with an amazing aroma as we opened the bottle, but that was the best part of it. It was not bad or off, but the fruit has faded so much that the only real fruit you can taste is a little purple on the finish which ends quickly. Flat and simple.

One of the better wines I had from SLWC in quite a while. Leather, earth, touch of sweat and enough black fruit to compensate for the funk. Richly textured, velvety smooth, and great balancing acidity for food. An utter surprise to me that this wine showed as well as it did. Two things - a bit of brett but not enough for me to qualify it as a fault, and I would never have pegged this as Napa Valley Petit Sirah. Regardless, a scrumptious drink.

Blair’s: Great blackberry with notes of sweet leather; nice aged fruit notes--slight earthiness to it; settled down, not overpowering but nice and elegant; great mature feel in the mouth--silky without dry t’s. Very nice perfectly aged Petite Sirah. W/risotto.
