Still drinking quite young with nice red and blue fruit. Starting to pick up a touch of graphite/green pepper as secondary notes. Medium + body with somewhat chalky tannins. I think this will continue to improve over time and will check in again next year.

Pronounced nose intensity with notes of earth, mushroom, charr wood, toast, spices. red and black fruits. Medium+ acidity and medium+ tannin. Decanting 1 - 2 hours ahead.

A step up from from last bottle. Cab franc dominated profile, resolved smooth and quafffable. Still distinguish able as Bdx but at the lighter, more elegant side of the spectrum

Quite dry with nice smoothness of age. Very much a classic - not fruit forward. Mid weight. Blackberries and dark cherries. Felt quite evolved (limited freshness). Maybe a little green. Very classical - poised and balanced but lacking a little something.

This example showed better than a bottle from the same source in September 2021. Tasted blind, this came across quite obviously as a quality St. Emilion sitting at a good point in its arc of maturity, the soft, plump Merlot-imparted dark berry notes and chocolate freshened by a little mineral and Cabernet-imparted green peppercorn notes. I like the suave tannin here, which imparts a really pleasant chew, and the wine spreads out beautifully on the palate, the juicy fruit lingering, lasting on the finish. Equal parts Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Merlot.
