An intoxicating nose, that would make Ulysses' sirens green with envy. Palate is a little weak with acids underwhelming the lush sweetness. As this wine matures over time, it will certainly become more exciting. However, it will never be among Suduiraut's finer achievements.
"I'm Bored" pot luck lunch at Kevin's 4/1/15. Rich golden color. Sweet Honetsuckle nose with a “sliver” of fusil. Honetsuckle / peaches apparent on palate. Sweetness balanced beautifully with acidity preventing even a suggestion of a cloyingly sweet wine. Long finish. Wonderful even at young age. (Definitly not an April Fools Joke by Gary.)
A Wild Wednesday (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): REally pretty medium deep gold color. PNP, drank 2 glasses over an hour. Oh my was this in a good place. Just tickles the olfactory senses and sets off a cavalcade of delectable aromas and flavors. The nose is complex with pineapple, apricot, peach cobbler, honey, and honeysuckle. The palate is so well balanced showing crisp acidity and freshness of fruit that is just the right amount of sweet, pineapple, orange, apricot, honey, vanilla creamsicle, mildly spiced, lifted finish. Delicious. Clearly WOTN. 93+pts.
Really nice wine here, but lacking the concentration and lush character found in the best vintages. Still, there is ample layers of honey coated apricots, orange, pineapple, vanilla bean and floral scents to get you going. The sweet, fresh, luscious, spicy, honeyed finish is a treat. This will only get better with time.

(Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes) In this vintage Suduiraut has a lovely nose, showing dried fruits, and a fresh sweetness. Very appealing, fresh, gentle and composed on the palate, with fine, sweet, vanilla-tinged fruit. A nice savoury citrus finish too. This is a good wine.
(Chateau Suduiraut Sauternes) A vibrant nose. Slightly confected candied fruits. Very nice flavours on the palate, delicate flower petals, creamy oak. Candied fruits as on the nose, but not a lot of concentration or depth really. Not a lot of botrytis either. Moderate acidity. Decent, nothing more.
