  • Belle couleur rouge grenat.

  • One note for the 2006, 2007 and 2008. All three vintages have a creamy bouquet with some earthy impressions and mainly black fruits. On the palate mainly black fruits like cassis and a firm amount of acidity and tannin. The 2007 is the lightest as you can expect considering the vintage. It is ok and easy with a fairly short finish. Not really an interesting wine. The 2008 is still very fruit forward with its black forest fruits and good tannin. Try next in 2015 is probably wise. The 2006 is in an intermediate phase; the tannin is firm and tight, but the wine is juicy and has good and firm bitterness. Give this wine another 3 – 4 years; so next try in 2014 or 2015. Both the 2006 and 2008 will probably last until approx 2018. Score for 2006; 86+

  • More fruit forward than the still tannic 2005. Fairly typical bordeaux fruits with some funky earth/mushrooms coming through at the end. A good bottle of wine for $20 but nothing to knock your socks off either.
