Not decanted, consumed over 2+ hours. Maybe the first "serious" WA wine we've had, and it was quite enjoyable. A slight touch of brown in the color was the only hint of this wine's age; otherwise, it seemed youthful but nicely balanced. Strawberry and cherry notes were most prominent, with hints of cassis and baking spices showing through at times. Acids and tannins were subtle but present, and the finish had good length to it. I'm not sure how much I'd spend to drink it again, but I consider this a score at the $30 price paid.
