Flavors of raspberry, black current and a little blueberry. Very smooth, well aged and well integrated tannins. Medium finish that just makes this wine delicious all around.

Aromas of fennel, pepper, paprika and other spices blend with blueberry and violets. Blueberries, clover, black pepper, and paprika create an interesting blend on the palate. A little more diluted flavor than on would expect from a napa zinfandel, but quite nice overall. Finish has just a bit too much heat.

Juicy red berries, a hint of herbs and bramblebush, combine to make this an above-average quaffer. In this price point, there's a whole lot more I can think of that I'd rather have on the table, but it was thoroughly enjoyable with no detectable flaws or genuine shortcoming. Purchased at the winery after a lengthy tour of the property up to the top of Pritchard Hill in the triple axle Pinzgauer. Well integrated 14.5% alcohol.
Drink through 2012, approximately $22

A bit rustic. Nice but earthy with medium fruit and a bit of a bitter finish.
