Complex nose of iron, cured meat, dill, tobacco. Rich, dark fruit laden mouth. Sweet (American oak?) but well balanced tannins on the finish. Delivers a lot for this price range.

Full nose of dark cherries, dill, earth and spice. Palate is medium bodied with round red fruit, juicy acidity and suave tannin working in harmony. Excellent length and persistence. There's a nice coiled energy in the finish. Well done, and shows typical for RdD.
