very distinctive nose, stinky like dirty socks mixed with dark fruits. Tasted pure, rich with more dark fruit and a great deal of acidity. Nice finish although it could have been a little longer. My sense is that this wine has a few years left in it, as the acids still reigned over the fruit. A good wine paired with food (mushroom and butternut squash ravioli cooked in brown butter and chicken broth).

This showed very well among the US pinots. Classic Savoy characteristics.

Vegetal note in nose, isopropyl. Opens up softer, richer, very appealing. Bright acidity, nice balance, too short finish.

Took to St. Louis with Kevin. Drank it at the hotel before going out to dinner. Beautiful nose, great fruit and balance. Love that Roessler.
