Drinking well now. Dark red with peripheral clearing in a glass, a tinge of rust in color and taste from this now 9 year old wine. Still a bit rough, chewy -- typical of the Haut-Medoc. Overall quite good fruit for a Bordeaux, with matching acidity and tannins. Enjoyed it with a flank steak.
Curious about this property - spotted this bottle at the LWS, been thinking about getting some 09. This has a translucent color, leaning toward brick. Decanted this several hours ago. Cherries and dust on the nose. Medium weight palate that is short with pretty sharp acidity to finish. Maybe it's the vintage, but this is just ordinary
