Love this Cali Chard. Big butter and oak on both nose and palate. Drinking very well now, I believe this has plenty of meat on its bones to stand up to cellaring 5 or more years. General concensus at a recent dozen-person oenophile tasting was this wine MATCHED OR BETTERED 10 and 20yr old white Burgundies.

This chardonnay, unlike so many others, improves with age. As a wine club member, I got a great deal that enabled me to acquire 3 cases. Now beginning case 3, and if anything it is showing better than it did two years ago. For this one, might have to keep a couple bottles around a decade or two and compare to some of the haughty french whites with similar vintage...

well balanced from start to finish. "butter" is on target as well; oak balanced from begining to end; nice finish, some tropical fruit flavor but balanced by the acid.

Showing really well at the moment ... all ripe pears and buttery, caramel cream.

Drinking nicely as the oak has fully integrated and shows nice balance of creamy pear/apple and soft toasty notes.
