some confusion here. this bottle got lost in the cellar. thought that i had consumed another one recently but that must have been a different vintage. i believe that i had some "off system" bottles when the wine was released. this wine goes to the head of the class and surpasses other vintages as being the best wine cambria has produced. parker and i agree on this one regarding overall quality and specific taste characteristics. at this point the pineapple seems most prominent. who would ever think of putting butter on pineapple but the combination works well here. note that the pundits significantly underestimated the longevity of this wine which is still fresh in every respect with perfect balance of all flavor components. beautiful aroma which evens comes through upon opening at fridge temperature. a real gem.

Kept well for these 7 years....drank fine with light poultry. Fruit a little on the decline.
