Definite signs of oxidation and age. Probably better many years ago, but this is still showing interest, with typical Gewurz character, zingy acidity, and moderate sweetness.

Clearly past its prime, heavy notes of rancio dominate the palate. Suprising amounts of fruit and acidity remain, but it is hard to detect the 15.1% sugar that existed at the time of bottling. 10-15 second finish. Despite all its flaws, it is still a complex and enjoyable sip. I intend to acquire a replacement.
