  • Very dissappointed with this wine, although was picked up heavily discounted. I guess that really tells the story of this wine. Nothing interesting at all with this wine. What ever happened to the old Rosemount wines? they used to be really good. Ah wel, have one bottle left, will use it for cooking wine.

  • Good colour aging at the edges. Subtle flavours of berries with claret-like earthy undertones.

  • Bought at local discount wine chain. Paid $20 which was apparently 50% off... Obviously, by the level discounting I wasn't expecting too much from this wine, but even then my expectations were way too high. My wife and I were bitterly disappointed with it. I don't think there was any thing wrong with the wine (maybe slightly cooked). Possibly the most uninteresting wine I have ever had, it had no nose and there was no fruit, no acidity, no tannins, it was just a tasteless wine. There are plently of better sub $20 wines out there... not to mention $40 examples of a better shiraz cab.
