  pat and i shared this bottle with adele and mario in their boca condo. rocco and gina were also there. enjoyed this bottle after dinner at jake's stone crab. everyone was in a good mood. adele commented that the wine reminded her of what she used to drink with her parents. brought back fond memories. the wine is less vibrant than it was at point of purchase a few years ago. still showing montepulciano character but in modest proportions.

  brought to dinner at fernanda and nunzio's in boca. her daughter and son-in-law were also there. everyone enjoyed the wine. many thought it was among the better montepulciano d'abruzzo wines in their experience. the wine was charming from the outset. medium body. well balanced. we enjoyed the fact that there was not too much heat. nose was evident from the outset but developed substantially with 45 minutes of air. most tasted cherry and licorice. i noted some raspberry.
