Tasting at Graham’s (Vila Nova de Gaia, Portugal): Lightest color. High tone distillate aromas. Fairly dry, good fruit, but the alcohol is too intrusive through the mid-palate and finish. My least favorite of the entire line up.

2022 Port Harvest Tour; 9/22/2022-10/2/2022 (Porto, Portugal): Clear, amber-orange in color. This wine offers a rich nose of dusty old wood, dried fig, and a touch of honey. The rich mouthfeel features complex notes of orange spice, dried apricots, and vanilla, concluding with a nice, rich, long finish.

Aroma is of warm spices, honey and oak. Taste is a pleasant sweetness, smooth and soft with earthy, oak notes as well as black fruit and anise. Wonderful lengthy complex finish

"An evening of Port with the Symingtons" at BBR (BBR): Surprising acidity; not as mellow as expected for a 40yr old tawny. Almost tart!! Good but a little bit disappointing vs expectations.

damn near perfect. So complex, satisfying, and direct. If anything the alcohol was a tad bit too present but otherwise, a great experience.
