  Nez au fruité net de fruits rouges confits, d'alcool, d'épices douces et de poivre rose. En bouche, les tanins sont assez fondus. Bonne qualité, mais à environ 50$, beaucoup trop cher pour ce qu'il donne.

  i think the regular bottling of this wine is such a waste. new world, one note, over ripe. i have always (multiple vintage), thought the cuvee exceptionnelle was a true elegant exercise in taste, in barrel selection. this vintage is not an exception. it takes that berry ripeness and adds layers of depth, tea and earth and spice and a bit of candied liquorice, a bit of meat from the fire. ageworthiness- probably. i have not experienced that, i am laying down 2005. def has the balance for it.

  Beau nez où s'entremêlent les arômes fruités et épicées et les notes animales. En bouche, les tanins relevés sont carrés mais ont quand même un certain gras et sont prometteurs. Les saveurs suivent. À 40$, j'aurais dit qu'il s'agit d'un bon achat. À près de 50$, j'ai plus de difficulté. Déjà satisfaisant, mais gagnera quelques points supplémentaires avec les années.
