  Opened for six hours, not decanted. Dark purple/red; a real teeth stainer. Awesome nose of anise, black cherry, pepper, cinnamon, and violets. Hard to judge the palate, as it's very grippy and short on the finish. Some black fruit is there, but this needs time.
