(Water Wheel Shiraz Bendigo) #2; COLOR-dark; NOSE-great nose; nice cherries & raspberries; strawberries are square dancing on my palate; TASTE-great complexity; awesome upfront fruit; great grape_ape jelly flavors; I feel the alcohol, but it's not hot (like the perfect mixed drink); it's balanced w/ the fruit; great length; beautiful black pepper flavors on the back-end; a duck fat component; great fresh fruit; ridiculous value for $14 bones; an absolute steal; a little chocolate on the back-end; JM-91; GV-90

Still holding its own. Ready to drink now but a fine Aussie Shiraz for $15. Heavy tobacco. Suggest decanting. Last bottle after purchased a case in 2008. Sad to see this leave the cellar.

A really dark and brooding wine. Tobacco, plums, anise, and pepper with creamy oak.
