Showing much more depth, concentration and complexity than the bottle drank in February. Cool menthol infused red berry, underbrush, cured meat and mineral. Has really put on some weight, and now is a rich classy Bourgogne. Drink now-2015. 89+ pts.
Moderately expressive nose of dried and fresh dark cherry and plum. On the palate, spicy, dark fruit. Overall, nice balance and density of fruit, though presently this is a bit coarse / rough and tumble, but I would bet it will settle down and benefit from short to medium term cellaring.
Underbrush , game and very bordeaux like currant and tobacco. Still quite young and needs a little time to flesh out a bit on the palate. A little more rustic than I would expect from this producer. Drink 2009-2014. 87+ pts.
