Unusual color - burnt orange. Improved the longer it was in the glass. Preserved unwashed blueberry flavors. The closest comparison I could think would be Tavel. But this is much richer and more alcoholic than even a big Tavel Rose'.
non blind to me. very nice blueberry/strawberry nose. not hot on the nose. really nice full palate and mouthfeel with a nice mix of red and blue fruits, and integrated earthiness. did not noticably detect any heat or wood on this. certainly a bigger and different type of rose, but this bottle was nicely restrained and seemed in good balance tonight.

(Sine Qua Non Autrement Dit) Dark cherry red color; tart cranberry and berry nose; big, tart cherry, sour cherry, tangy, concnetrated, ripe cranberry, orange palate with an herbal note; long finish 90+ pts. (55% Grenache, 45% Syrah) (tasted better served cold initially, as a faux "Cosmopolitan," not as good as it warmed up to room temp)
