  Taste: This chardonnay was not overly oaked, and I found it to be nicely balanced (medium weight for a chardonnay). The fruit was forward but was so dominating that it would overpower moderately flavored seafood. I had it with a duck confit in pastry appetizer (not overly heavy), and the wine went well with it.
