Really what Pinot should be. Lovely and delicate but full of flavor. Not trying to be syrah. The tannins are round and soft. Lots of cherry and strawberry fruits. At its peak. Drink now.

Rose wine. Light strawberry/orange in color. Bright melon on the palette. Good acidity, but not complex. Russian River PN fruit, yet below average QPR. Put the screw cap on the bottle and left it in refrig for a few days. Came back and it seemed to open up and be more complex. So, this wine might need time out of the bottle, before its true potential can be seen.
California is attempting to find a place in the rose market which has been dominated for centuries by southern France.

Tight upon opening. Good color.
Ultimately a disappointment with a weaker body than normal.
