PnP. Predominantly black fruit and little balance. Not what I remember from the last bottle. Decided to decant 1 hour. It all came together with brambly black fruit, tobacco, and black olive with silky tannins and long finish.

I was really worried when the cork essentially crumbled around the corkscrew and the initial taste has a bizarre "funk." However, that blew off quickly and left a dense and complex old world style red blend that continued to open up over time despite its age. I have one more bottle and agree with others that it is "drink up" time. I'll wait to pair it with a nice red steak and fully enjoy the last bottle.

Still a charmer, although she's turning vegetal. Plums, cassis, espresso and bittersweet chocolate with some green string beans thrown in. Still ruby in the glass with a touch of creosote in the bouquet. Long and silky with some alcohol in the finish with some vegetal notes. Wine cellar stored since release. Definitely in its drink-me-now phase. (= Pass as it sits in the glass today)
