The color was pale, almost colorless and the nose was fruity - pineapple, elderberry, peach. The palate was also fruity and more sweet than I'd expected. Fresh aftertaste that dosen't linger. | Tasted by nwinther on 6/14/2007 flawed bottle: A very peculiar experience. When opened, a slight mist came out of the opening - much like on a cool bottle of soda. The color was almost nonexistant. Often seen in rieslings. However, small bubbles formed on the glass and they kept reappearing. The nose was very much off and yeasty. Nothing else. The palate was very sweet - much sweeter than expected and also somewhat yeasty. Not a good wine at all. I have another bottle and I'll see if that's the same. (2638 views) |

This puts this and other database driven sites in a difficult spot, as millions of old wine label reflect the former labeling. As described here, CellarTracker has elected to remain with the old labeling for a number of years to avoid confusion.
