(OPUS ONE) #2; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-dark; NOSE-very pretty & explosive ripe raspberry; tobacco leave; some dark cherry & licorice; hint of chocolate; really nice; TASTE-good mouthfeel; nice tannin structure; really grips my palate; little hot; a little fake grapey-grape action; good grip; nice mid-palate; finish is soft; this wine is young, good richness & complexity; nice olive component; a solid effort; but has a bitter & sour green finish; ; RP-88; GV-89+

Ox-blood in color
Oak, vanilla, leather, remnants of dark fruit off the nose.
Silky smooth. Loads of tobacco, black Chinese tea, some oak, with a medium plus finish.
Incredibly well structured wine. Opus is one of the best Napa producers for a reason. Drink now or hold two years, but won't get any better IMHO.

It is certainly a great wine (by applicable standards), but with an obvious modern California profile; dark, strong fruit, raspberry nose; long finish.
