  • It's a good wine, but in its present stage it seems to be between its fresheness and developed tastes. Nose is great and tast eis fine with decent acidity and good fruit, but nothing special really. May have been slightly brought down as it did not pair at all with the shrimps I was having, but tried it several times before and after food. You live you learn.

  • Another very good base level German riesling from the 2005 vintage. Started out relatively simple with rich floral fruits but certainly transformed into a complex wine full of spicy minerals, river stones and smoke / flint. Good length and power throughout. You could drink this all day every day. I can still get my hands on this wine thus a couple of bottles will be going into the cellar.

Rockss and Fruit

(Robert Weil Spatlese Trocken) Nose of citrus, slate and some nuts. Ripe, clean, strong and crisp palate. Really gives of the impression of a severely dry wine. As you can see by my description I loved it. Really concentrated and dense.
