Sold as an "un-oaked" chard, this medium bodied wine has a fair amount of r/s, and good balance. A short finish and a subdued nose betray its price point. But, it's not a bad food wine if you put it with some spicier/heat dishes of lamb/chicken/sausage. For $8, it's a poor-man's Rombauer knock-off. Drink thru 2010.

nose: decent nose of oak, vanilla, and ripe citrus tones
taste: decent medium bodied chard with mostly oak and citrus tones
overall: a decent wine, not much else. Easy drinking with a solid attack but weak finish
