Still youthful mid-deep red. This has a very fruity, sweet nose -a touch artificial. But this soon passes to give a bright, if light, fruity nose. The palate is less positive - a bit thin and the fruit is now sharp. Surprisingly, this works better the warmer it gets - say 21 degrees. Settles down and mellows out that sharpness.

Bright, light rd. Very youthful for its age. The nose is creamy with subdued red fruits. The palate repeats the nose. A particular feature is the finish which is a fair length and well balanced fading to alcohol.

2002 Oregon Pinots - Tasted Blind (Tom's house in Palo Alto, California): Generous nose with some funk. Palate is very soft, missing depth. Tastes blind.
My #6, Group's #6

Blind Tasting 2002 Oregon Pinots (with pre's and Burg ringers) (Tom's House, Palo Alto, CA): Funky, sour cherry nose. Light to medium bodied with low to medium acidity. Forest floor, sweet cherry and wood. Light but drying tannins. (my 5th, group's 6th - Flight 1)
