(199 views) | | | Tasted by Alarak on 12/30/2007 & rated 92 points: Very ripe yet balanced by subtle acidity. Flowers and melon, very complex. Had with Salmon sauteed in olive oil and garlic, cous-cous and a goat cheese salad. Wine held up easily to the big food flavors. Each bite of food brought out different facets of the wine. A real beauty. (368 views) | | | Tasted by drdebs on 11/19/2007 & rated 87 points: Floral and citrus aromas and palate with white blossoms added in for additional interest. California Wines (Wine Institute of California)
California is one of the most diverse wine regions in the world, with almost 100 grape varieties grown in almost 10 viticultural areas, including dozens of different microclimates and soil types, as well as a very individualistic set of winemakers, many with international experience, which adds to and deepens that diversity.
