  Pop and pour with rotisserie chicken and a sourdough boule. Haven't been back to this one in 3yrs - worth the wait. Deep garnet/ruby clear and bright in the glass. Nose erupts from the glass, baked blue, red and black fruit, sandalwood and baking spice. Juicy fruit on the front palate - strawberry jam, cassis and chambord. Smooth as silk on the mid-palate, with plenty of acidity and just a hint of chewiness. PR sunshine and heat blessed this wine. Finish is dark chocolate covered black cherries and lasts for 30+ seconds. As good a New world Cab as I've had in a year.

  Ripe cherry, leather, a little oak, vanilla, and black currant on both the nose and palate. Delicious, and NOT on the decline. Layered nicely, no discoloration on the rim, beautifully aged. Full mouth-coating gives a long length. Delightful. 91 pts.
