Community Tasting Notes (2)

  • Pale gold in color with a bursting bouquet of white fruit notes such as melon, pear and lychee with delicate subtle notes of honey and white flowers. In the mouth, the wine has a nice feel, clean and crisp with good acidity that gently coats the tongue, leaving light floral notes on a short but lively finish. Bone dry with less expression on the palate, showing a touch of floral and tropical notes. Good one-dimensional wine.3.5/5

  • Chardonnay/Macabeo Blend
Rich golden color with a nose that leaps out of the glass. Pineapple and catelope nose with light floral overtones. In the mouth this is a piece of candy, reminding my me of my childhood and eating "smarties", light pineapple and melon notes, though not like the nose this melon is more honeydew than cantelope. Fully dry with only a medium acidity this is a nice quaffer, clean and simple. 3/5
