Really not bad given the year - classic, cedary claret if not with the best fruit structure. Overall a satisfying wine if the price is right. I enjoyed this. Representative of Barton. For what it's worth, I think the 1992 is better.
Not bad (we finished the bottle), but a little light and thin as other reviewers noted. I would not hesitate to go with 1994 LB (one of the few stars of the vintage) rather than this 1993 version for 10 more bucks.
Red rim, touch of brick showing. Dark red, just see through. Great blackcurrant fruit nose. Quite dry in the mouth but not too tannic. Beginning to thin. Fruit reappears on the finish but fading. On the way out.
